Product description
ATH-1025
Semi-Synthetic Cutting and Cooling Fluid (Soluble Oil)
Properties
- Resistant to corrosion and wear.
- Cooling and cutting performance is high.
- Resistant to hard water.
- Tramp oils such as slideway oil are not emulsified.
- Contains no nitrile, phenol or formaldehyde.
- Contributes to cutting edge life.
- Assists chip evacuation.
Application
- Under normal conditions it is mixed into water at 5 % (refractometer ~3.5).
- Top-up emulsion is prepared externally.
- For differing operating conditions the emulsion ratio is determined by trial.
Warnings
- Before the fluid is applied, the machine and the fluid tank, including the hoses, must be disinfected.
- The emulsion must be checked frequently.
- The machine must not be run without an oil skimmer.
- Interrupting machine operation shortens fluid life.
- The packaging is kept out of sunlight.
- Spent chemical and its packaging are disposed of in line with environmental regulations.
- Protective clothing and safety glasses are worn to prevent skin contact.
