Ball Nose End Mills

Ball nose solid carbide end mill series are grouped under this heading. Cutting diameter runs from Ø1 to Ø20 mm, shank diameter from Ø3 to Ø20 mm, flute length from 2 to 24 mm and overall length from 50 to 100 mm. On a ball nose the corner radius equals half the cutting diameter (R5 for Ø10); this geometry is used for 3D surfacing, mould finishing and curved forms. The NKN series has two flutes.
